Grounds Attendant, Part Time - Sawmill Creek Resort

$18.50/hour

Ages 18+. This position is an hourly, union position. 

At Sawmill Creek, work is FUN! As a Grounds Attendant, you’ll assist with trash removal, window cleaning, and general grounds maintenance. You’ll also…

• Clean charcoal grills.
• Change propane tanks for fire pits.

• Move and arrange outdoor furniture and cushions.

• Remove snow from public areas.

• Uses cleaning equipment in accordance with the departmental safety guidelines.

• Utilizes personal protective equipment (PPE) as necessary.

• Cleans and maintains all exterior areas of the hotel, including parking lots, pools, entry ways, etc.

• Maintains cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and performs all duties in compliance with Six Flags Safety guidelines and requirements and reports all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision.

• Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions
• Ability to work independently
• Able to use various equipment such as power washers, leaf blowers, etc.
• Ability to lift, push, pull and carry over 50lbs.
• Ability to remain calm during emotionally charged situations
• Valid driver’s license preferred
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs
• Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law
• Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education, and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law
