Starting Salary: $50,000/Year 

Responsibilities

  • Monitoring and enforcing compliance with all relevant aspects of the established policies and procedures of Six Flags New England and the Six Flags New England Security Department
  • Overseeing all areas related to the safe and effective operation of Main Gate Screening, Loss Prevention, Dispatch, Call
  • Response, Physical Security, and Parking Lot functions
  • Operate as Security “Manager on Duty” as needed and assigned
  • Responsible for the coaching, counseling, development, and motivation of department team members
  • Responsible for the department hiring, scheduling, and training programs
  • Working closely with Security Manager to create and execute new programs and initiatives to improve department operations
  • Assist Security Manager with strategic planning and decisions
  • Monitoring and adhering to labor and expense budgets
  • Working with local law enforcement to respond to and prevent incidents around the property
  • Identifying potential security concerns throughout the property and creating mitigation strategies to address concerns
  • Identifying and cultivating a high-performance team
  • Provide on-call coverage to act as a resource for the team and property during emergent or critical situations
  • Supporting the culture and values of Six Flags Entertainment Corporation
  • Performing other duties as assigned or necessary to support Six Flags New England

Qualifications

  • Strong oral and written communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail
  • Ability to remain calm during stressful and emergency situations
  • Proficiency in computer skills in Microsoft Office and Windows OS
  • Experienced in leadership
  • Experienced in security operations or other relevant operational experience
  • Willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • 18 years old or older
  • Able to complete Six Flags Driver Clearance with a valid driver’s license
  • Able to communicate effectively in the English language, including the ability to read, speak, and understand the English language
